$1,000,000 donation enables building of a modern milking parlor.

$1,000,000 donation enables dairy to build a new parallel double 20 milking parlor.  It has Delavel stalls and an AFI monitoring system.  Along with daily milk weights, each cow has a pedometer to count steps she takes each day. This information is automatically fed into the computer at each milking aiding in the herd health and breeding programs.  A side benefit is the ability to use this information for student research projects.
